Fancy a holiday that really is strong and stable?
Germany sizzles in Summer.
As an LGBT Brit in 2017 one thing is certain. This Summer, a reliable getaway — with all of what you want freely available — packaged into a truly stress-free holiday, makes for a very attractive proposition.
Right on cue, German National Tourist Office has released first details from their new 2017 initiatives, connecting LGBT travellers with the many, brilliant reasons to place Germany onto your holiday travel itinerary in 2017.
First cab off the rank is the list below – of outstanding Pride events you can select from.
Pride in Germany is usually called CSD (short for “Christopher Street Day” – of Stonewall Inn riots fame) and attending a CSD is almost always about much more than just the amazing CSD street parties. If you are a CSD-virgin, expect to discover a lot to amaze you — with events to suit all tastes and flavours from mild to wild. Plan to spend at least a few days in the CSD city of your choice, where the many local LGBT communities and groups will serve up dozens of ‘satellite’ events, parties and things to see and do, all clustered around that city’s CSD week or weekend.
You truly will be spoilt for choice: there is something on for lesbian, gay, bi and trans people of all ages, interests and appetites. Whether your taste runs to all night dancing, checking out the fetish scene, finding some German bears to join for a beer or quiet, romantic al fresco dining, these places are fully ready – and awaiting your arrival. Check out the CSD list – and links – below.
